Well here we go – still full from last night’s pizza and wine fest but that is now a luxury I won’t be indulging in for the next 66 days….doesn’t seems so long when you say it like that! The next glorious display of gluttony will be just before my Celebrity Slim 8 Week Challenge Winners acceptance speech!

I woke up today with butterflies in my stomach. This really is a big challenge for me, and public failure is not an option. The diet itself seems easy to stick to and the are plenty of people to support me from The Wolf and CS Team, however I’ve never stuck to a diet wholeheartedly for a long period of time (hence why I’m on this challenge) and it’s a very daunting thought that I’m committing to this in the cold light of day …

but commit to it I will! I’ve pulled up my socks (Pink with cats on – very nice actually) and give myself a mental kick up the butt. This will be a lesson in endurance and resilience that if I complete will be a great lesson to learn!

OK must not ramble

So today I’ve started with a chocolate shake for breakfast and  I’ve got to say I’m surprised! I don’t normally like chocolate (I think it’s because I’m sweet enough as it is..) and I’ve had “other” meal replacement chocolate shakes before and they are ….well, VILE, but this was really nice – definitely going on my tick list. I’ve also started my little pink diary that you get with your CS Starter Pack and I’ve marked of my first day 1 down 65 to go! Havent decided on my mid-morning snack but I have a well know supermarket near work so I can get something fresh every day!! Managed my first ltr of water too… not as good as a big mug of strong milky coffee – but never mind!

Didnt get time to stop for snack before lunch – its a hellish busy time at work. But managed to stop for a bit for lunch and enjoy the beef soup (pretend beef of course!)… it was lush!! Very nice :) Had a yoghurt for mid afternoon snack and this is where the problem starts….. Really struggling with my evening meal choice.

I’ve been on the websites and nothing really appeals – they are either got lots of far flung ingredients or i dont fancy it!! I’ve gone on to a diet forum i use and i have plumbed for 2 quorn fillets, cauliflower mash ( a great potato substitute i’m assured ) and lots of “allowed” veg….with gravy of course.

Mouth tastes like a dirty ashtray (no i dont smoke) but im told this is good… :D

Will be embarking on a 45 minute walk tonight and I have a gym session booked for tomorrow to keep my mind occupied with goodness not naughtyness! (that will be a first)

Picked out 2 outfits im going to buy if i do well on this 8 week challenge……..Mmmmmmmm
